About the studio

A small studio doing two kinds of work with the same hands.

CAB Labs builds products under its own brands (Detox with Me, Breathe With Me, Juice with Me) and ships work for the people who hire it. The thread between them is the same: design that earns its place, software that respects the person using it.

What this place is

A place where family and friends come together to help support humanity.

That's the working pitch. It's a long sentence on purpose — “studio” is the easy word, but it isn't the right one. CAB Labs is a gathering: a small handful of people, mostly working alongside the founder, building things that try to be useful in someone's day.

That gathering shows up in two ways. We run our own brands, where the product is the studio's idea and the studio's responsibility. And we take on outside work — websites, apps, consulting — where someone else's idea is the brief and our job is to ship it the way we'd ship our own.

How we work

Small on purpose. Honest about scale. Specific in commitments.

We don't pretend to be a bigger company than we are. The work is better when the person you're talking to is the person doing the work. We say no to fits we're not right for, and we'd rather move a deadline than ship something embarrassing.

01

Fewer things, done well

The product apps and the client work both get the same care. There aren't enough hours to half-do either.

02

The work is the portfolio

What we ship is the only proof that matters. We don't lean on testimonials we wouldn't write ourselves.

03

Plain language, plain prices

Quotes start at $500/day and get specific from there. No “let's hop on a call” before we tell you what something costs.

04

Local where it matters

We're in Jacksonville, FL. Some clients are around the corner, some are remote. The standard is the same either way.

Builds the products, ships the client work

Ryan started CAB Labs to do the work in public — products that try to help people, and outside projects that earn their fee. He answers his own email. Collaborators rotate in by name on individual projects; he won't pretend the team is bigger than the credits.
