Terms of service.
The ground rules for using this website. If you're talking to us about a project, the contract for that work is separate — these terms cover the site itself.
1. About these terms
This page is the agreement between you and CAB Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” “the studio”) covering your use of cab-labs.coand any sub-pages linked from it. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the site.
If we end up working together — a website build, a consulting engagement, a project — that work is governed by a separate written agreement, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with anything on this page.
2. Acceptable use
Things we ask you not to do on the site:
- Scrape or copy the site in bulk for republication.
- Attempt to access parts of the site you weren't given access to.
- Send us anything illegal, malicious, or designed to harm other people.
- Misrepresent who you are when you contact us — we'd rather you say “I'd rather not say” than make something up.
- Use any automated tooling to probe, abuse, or overload the site.
You don't need to ask permission to read the site, link to it, share it, screenshot a page, or save a copy for your own reference. That's the whole point.
3. Accounts and submissions
The public site doesn't require an account. When you submit information through a contact form, newsletter sign-up, quote request, or other channel, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to send it. How we handle that information is covered in the privacy notice.
4. Intellectual property
The site's content — the writing, the design, the code, the imagery, the beaker mark, “CAB Labs,” and the product-brand names (Detox with Me, Breathe With Me, and others) — belongs to CAB Labs LLC unless explicitly noted otherwise. Third-party trademarks shown on portfolio or client-work pages remain the property of their respective owners.
What you can do
- Link to pages on the site.
- Quote short excerpts with attribution.
- Share screenshots in normal editorial or commentary contexts.
- Use our work as inspiration. Imitation is fine; impersonation isn't.
What you can't do without written permission
- Republish the site's content as your own.
- Use the CAB Labs name or marks to imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
- Strip attribution from anything you reuse.
5. Feedback you send us
If you send us a suggestion, a critique, or an idea about the site or our work, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to act on it. We will not owe you compensation, attribution, or confidentiality for feedback unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing. This is the normal exception people write into these terms — but in practice, if your idea is materially useful we'll credit you anyway.
6. Third-party links
The site links to other sites — our partners, the apps we make, references, code resources, occasional inspirations. We don't control those sites, we don't review their content on an ongoing basis, and we aren't responsible for what they do or what they ask of you. Visit them at your own discretion.
7. No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We try hard to make it accurate, fast, and online — but we don't promise that it will be free of bugs, free of downtime, or suitable for any specific purpose you have in mind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, CAB Labs LLC and the people working under it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, that arise out of your use of the site — whether the claim is brought in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether we were told about the possibility of the damages or not.
Where law requires us to be liable, our total liability for anything related to the site is capped at one hundred US dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us (if any) for the use of the site in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
If your use of the site causes a third party to bring a claim against us — for example, because you misused something on the site or violated someone else's rights through us — you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless for the reasonable costs of defending and resolving that claim. We'll let you know promptly if anything like that happens and let you participate in the defense.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida, and you and we both consent to that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when something changes — a new feature, a new legal requirement, a clarification. We'll update the “Effective” date at the top, and for material changes we'll add a note to the site for at least 30 days. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
